Guys, I had the BEST birthday this year. My favorite one to date I bet. It was on Friday and so first I want to thank y'all! I got fic, shout outs, messages, texts, vgifts, tweets, e-mails, the works!

Work was AMAZING. Usually for people's birthday, we'd get cake and stuff, but this time? There was a surprise potluck for me! Every staff member brought food and they all signed this card for me and chipped in for 2 gift cards. A friend who wasn't working that day drove an HOUR to come see me, gave me my favorite cake, and had to drive an hour back home. I was constantly loved on and was almost brought to tears. My students were super nice to me, and a couple of the other ones were so sweet - they said I looked so pretty and thought I was going to a wedding!

Just throughout the day, constant bombardment of love.

I came home and my sister brought me more red velvet cake, and then she gave me a suit she had made for me. It's cheetah and zebra and is this beautiful teal with hot pink. TOTAL LOVE.

THEN, my entire family surrounded me as I cut our family birthday cake.

All in all? Pretty fabulous :D

So thank you to all of you that helped my day be AWESOME. Usually I like birthdays, but we never do much. This time around, I just felt constant love and this was totally my favorite one to date!

Okay so I had mentioned to my brother about the Kindle v. Nook debate I'd been having in my mind.

I went to sleep early last night because I wasn't feeling well, and this morning I ran into my brother in the hallway as I was going to take a shower. He asked me if I had seen the box. I was like, uh no. I looked back inside my room and saw a box. An Amazon box. An Amazon box with the words Kindle Fire across the side!!!

So yeah, problem solved ;)

You guys have any files/hints/tips you're willing to share? *bats lashes*

2. Continuing the rewatch of season one of Supernatural. Some tidbits:
-The bugs episode still freaks me out (I'm not a fan of bugs at all)
-I love and miss Missouri and wish she'd come back haha, she might be one of my favorite people ever! The scene with the plumber losing his hand in Home is still one of the grossest things.
-Asylum is still creepy as anything
-In Faith, Dean still looks ridiculously gorgeous as he's on the verge of dying. I loved Layla too! She's so pretty and adorable and real <3
-I love that Dean fell in love once in Route 666 and can't believe there's an episode about a racist truck haha. The scene with him and Cassie reaquainting themselves with each other is still hot as hell. I love that even though Dean's kind of the 'wham bam, thank you ma'am' type, he's a passionate lover, not gonna lie.
-I miss the Sam and Dean being BROTHERS. Them annoying each other and getting on each other's nerves and just being family *sighs*
-I also miss Sam's bangs. SO CUTE.

3. My sister got married on Sunday, hence my temporary hiatus for a bit. Stuff was crazy around the house and this wasn't the traditional marriage we have either. Things were a bit...complicated. But she's with her husband and married and at her own place now, so I call that a success ;)

4. The Wedding Comment Fic Meme is still going! I'm going to attempt to write some stuff for it, and I've coded the fills already. GO PLAY!! :)

♥ I just wanted to say THANK YOU for everyone who responded to my last post. I feel supremely blessed to have you all and your support for me and my family in my life! I'm not going to reply to those, but you don't even know how touched I feel to be able to consider you all my friends ♡♡♡

♥ So my family fails at planning stuff. While your Orlando replies were helpful, my brother decided not to go in the end :( which means I don't get to meet caithream, this makes me SO sad. For his vacation we're gonna do Austin and San Antonio, stay close to home. Maybe we'll do Orlando some other year. Sorry Sarah!

♥ I've been wearing glasses since I was in sixth grade and I've been thinking about contacts. Are the prescriptions different for contacts v. glasses? What brand do you wear/recommend? Is there anything I need to know as a first timer for contacts? Thank you!

♥ Happy Birthday Draco Malfoy-Potter!!! Aww I miss those days and all my H/D friends as well. I still <3 you!

♥ Sorry I've been kinda AWOL guys. My cousins were visiting from Kenya for my graduation and to just visit, so I've been spending as much time as possible with them. They left yesterday, though, so I'll try getting back in the groove of things. If I missed anything that you would like me to see, please link me!

♥ There's so much to DO fandom-wise but my Mom is always on my case about cleaning and whatnot and not sitting on the computer as much. I'll be on as much as I can, but I may not be on as much as I want. I hope you guys understand!

♥ So poor_choices is pretty much awesome yes? She and setissma started a RPG community classy_lawyers that is pretty much the BEST THING EVER. I love this comm and the Jared, Jensen, and Danneel in it to ridiculous amounts haha. I don't usually follow RPG's but this is EPIC ya'll. And there's hints for my favorite OTP to happen. There's tons of witty banter, scorching hot sex, and funtimes for all!

♥ Big Bang posting starts on Monday! That's going to take up even more time reading haha but I'm super excited! I LOVE Big Bang fics. They're always awesomely epic! matalinolukaret and I post on July 1, so keep your eyes peeled for that :) (We still have SO much to do re: big bang *sighs* BUT WE CAN DO IT RIGHT?! So encouraging words are AWESOME.)

♥ I still have 2 gift-fics that got written for me since the last post! My birthday just goes on and on and I love it! LOL

Mom is in the hospital. She was having chest pains earlier, so I'm spending the night with her here tonight. (They said she should be okay, thankfully!) Thank god for wi fi is all I'm saying. This has been SUCH a bad weekend *sighs*

Just wanted to give an update. I also haven't commented on any of those 'surprise me' memes since Friday morning well because I just didn't have time. You KNOW ilu though right? My 'to read' fic is out the wazoo and all I'm doing is re-reading _mournthewicked's fics. *shakes head* I just need a pick me up, and they do the job SO WELL. haha

Okay so yeah, that's life right now *facepalm* ILY FLIST.
